Ale’s Mary at the BittenbenderScranton

Ale Mary's is housed in the historic Bittenbender Building in Scranton which in past was dubbed as "The Wickedest City in the East" because of its bootleggers and brothels.The pub was founded in 2014 by Scrantonians who have a deep love for the areas history and its people.It offers a rotating selection of nearly 100 craft and import beers to complement the gastropub fare.

Poor Richard’s pub Scranton

It is a little off the beaten path in downtown Scranton, but is fun with good service and reasonable costs.Many people visit it as it is featured in the show 'The Office’.Perhaps the name is a nod to Benjamin Franklin's publication of Poor Richard's Almanack, which served as a vehicle of teaching for those who couldn't purchase books.The cheesesteak, wings, chicken tenders, and pierogi are all excellent choices on the menu along with the drinks.A perfect place to restore your soul at Only 25 minutes from Scranton.
